A week of unlocks. Personal Models and Private Agents are out of beta and live for everyone. Eleven new apps plug into Zero. Slides, images, and video got more options and now run in the background. Here's the rundown.
Use your own Claude Code or Codex subscription
Already paying for Claude Code or Codex? Sign in once and Zero can run on your subscription. Your personal models show up in the model picker like any other. Find it under Preferences → Personal model providers.

Keep agents to yourself with Private Agents
Building an agent that's just for you, your assistant, or a small group? You can now mark it private when you create it — only the people you choose will see or run it. Great for personal workflows, confidential projects, or anything that isn't ready for the rest of the team yet.

Pin the chats you keep coming back to. Queue what's next.
Two beta favorites are now live for everyone. Pin the conversations you actually use so they stay at the top of your list, and queue your next message while Zero is still working — it picks up the moment the current turn finishes. No more waiting on a blinking cursor.

Eleven new apps connected to Zero
Zero now plugs into more of the tools you already use every day:
- Data: Snowflake
- Messaging & calls: Twilio, SendGrid, Agora
- Sales & payments: Gong, Square
- Legal & operations: Ironclad, ServiceNow
- Testing & QA: BrowserStack, TestRail
- Hardware design: Altium 365
Connect any of them from Settings → Connectors.
Slides, images, and video got better
Ask Zero to build a slide deck and you can now pick which image model it uses, with cleaner previews. Here's a real prompt going in:

…and the cover of the six-slide deck it produced:

Image generation picked up new model options, including fresh settings for the latest gpt-image-2:

…and what gpt-image-2 returned — a hand-drawn editorial paintbrush sketching flowers and a crescent moon in mid-air:

Video generation is now available, powered by Fal:

…and four frames from the four-second clip Zero rendered — blank card, ink flower, crescent moon, paper plane gliding off:

For developers: let Zero use your local Claude Code
This one's for the developer crowd — skip if you live in the chat UI.
Some jobs only run on your machine — a repo you haven't pushed, secrets in a .env, a toolchain that's only on your laptop. Zero can now hand those to your local Claude Code or Codex.
Start a bridge from your terminal: Zero dispatches the task, your CLI runs it locally, the result lands back in chat. One task at a time, visible in your terminal, unpluggable any time.
Switch models mid-thread with /model
Type /model in any Slack or Telegram thread with Zero and pick a different model right there. No app reload, no settings menu — the next reply uses your new pick, and the thread keeps going.
This week on the blog
Why can't you automate your workflow? Twenty-two user interviews surfaced four barriers no one's talking about — what's actually stopping people from automating the work they keep saying they want to automate.
That's the week. We ship every week. Follow along on X or join the Discord to stay in the loop.
